February 22, (THEWILL) – Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has spoken out about the futures of Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, two players who have been instrumental in the team’s Scudetto charge this season.
Napoli are currently 15 points clear atop the Serie A table, and the I Partenopei side also churned out another stellar performed in their UEFA Champions League tie against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Osimhen opening the scoring.
De Laurentiis assured fans that it would not be difficult to keep their best players, as the club is good with contracts, but he did not rule out the possibility of “crazy proposals.” He believes that Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia “will stay for long time.”
There have been numerous reports that have mentioned that officials from over 30 clubs across Europe were in attendance at Deutsche Bank Park to watch key players from Napoli and Frankfurt.
Representatives from top English clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City, were among those present. Kvaratskhelia is reportedly being monitored by every major club in Europe, while Osimhen is Chelsea’s top target for the summer 2023 transfer window.
