February 15, (THEWILL) – David Adeleke otherwise known as Davido has lived up to his words and expectation by making his first donation to Kingdom Kings Klub Orphanage.
Recall that in November, 2021 Davido told his friends, associates and anyone who ever benefited from him, to give him N1 million each, to enable him clear his Rolls Royce from the port ahead of his 29th birthday.
However, what started off as a joke turned into a multi million naira making machine as the crooner was able to raise N200 million. The singer further surprised many when he added N50 million making the total sum, N250 million.
He then disclosed that he is going to donate all the N250 million to registered orphanages across the country. He also set up a team to monitor the distribution of funds across the country.
Davido recently made good his promise and made his first donation to the Kingdom Kings Klub in Plateau state.
The caretakers of the orphanage home have thanked the singer for showing so much kindness and empathy towards them.
