July 02, (THEWILL) – The founder of Trinity House Church, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, has revealed that his daughter has warned him never to remarry.
The clergy married former beauty queen, Ibidun Ajayi, in 2007, but unfortunately lost her in June 2020. The late entrepreneur died in her sleep while in Port-Harcourt, River State, where she went to set up a COVID-19 isolation centre.
The couple adopted two children, a girl and boy before the unfortunate demise of Ibidun.
While granting an interview with Arise TV, the clergy said he can’t say he will not remarry though his daughter has warned him not to, but he might consider it when his children get older.
“It is not possible to say I would never remarry, but if I had my way, I am okay. I am happy and my life is not complicated. I am looking after my children, and I am doing well. I might consider it when my children are older. My daughter has also warned me not to remarry (laughs).”
The cleric added that his children are not lacking a mother figure in their lives despite the fact that their mother is late.
“I have been lucky. They (children) have about four women (as mother figures) in their lives. They include my mother in-law (their maternal grandmother), my brother’s wife, Ifeyinwa, my sister, Toluwalope and Dami, who used to be Ibidun’s personal assistant. She has continued in that role”, he stated.
