February 22, (THEWILL) – Skit maker, Debo Adebayo, aka Mr Macaroni, has penned a note to Nigerians encouraging them to vote wisely.
According to him, Nigerians should vote for a candidate, who embodies good leadership qualities such as service, selflessness, sacrifice, discipline, integrity, accountability, truth, and love for the people.
The comedian believes that Nigeria cannot be transformed overnight but entrusting the country to capable hands is a promising step in the right direction.
“I don’t believe there is a Messiah that will solve the many problems of Nigeria in the blink of an eye.
“But I have found a candidate who fits my description of good leadership, which is service, selflessness and sacrifice through discipline, Integrity, accountability, truth and love for the people,” he said.
While listing the qualities of leader the country needs, he reaffirmed his commitment to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and advised Nigerians to vote for their chosen candidate as the election is fast approaching.
“A leader, who is mentally and physically fit, one who I believe is most competent to do the job and can begin to pilot the affairs of our dear nation to a better place.
“Fellow Nigerians, as you come out to vote for your preferred candidate, please consider your future success and prosperity and that of generations to come and kindly know that power to elect good leaders rests upon our shoulders,” he concluded.
