BEVERLY HILLS, May 23, (THEWILL) – Founders of defunct record label, Mo’Hits, D’banj and Don Jazzy, reunited at the wedding of Nigerian rapper, Ikechukwu Onunaku, years after the group collapsed.
Ikechukwu got married to Ella, his long-time girlfriend, on Saturday.
The musician had proposed to Ella in November last year, just two months after he announced their relationship.
The wedding was attended by popular celebrities, including Naeto C, Omawumi, Waje, Sola Sobowale, Sasha P, and Praiz.
The highlight of the event was the reunion of members of Mo’Hit, comprising artistes like Don Jazzy, D’banj, Wande Coal, Dr Sid, D’Prince, and K-Switch.
THEWILL writes that Don Jazzy and D’banj were the co-owners of the label that folded up in 2012.
After the split, Don Jazzy established Mavin Records while Dbanj founded DB Records.
However at Ikechukwu’s wedding, D’banj, Don Jazzy and Wande Coal reignited fond memories of the group as they performed hit projects released by the defunct label.
