February 27, (THEWILL) – In a thrilling Le Classique tie on Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured a critical 3-nil victory against Marseille, thanks to a masterclass performance from Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
The duo combined to score all three goals of the night, propelling PSG eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1. Marseille surprisingly dominated the opening exchanges of the match, playing with urgency and enthusiasm, which PSG seemed to lack.
