April 14, (THEWILL) – The electric record crowd of over 72,000 at Arrowhead Stadium bore witness to a thrilling encounter, as Inter Miami emerged victorious over Sporting Kansas City with a hard-fought 3-2 win.
The Herons’ talisman, Lionel Messi, was instrumental in the triumph, grabbing a goal and an assist to inspire his side to their first victory since March 16.

Thommy then equalised for Sporting KC, but the Herons had one more trick up their sleeve. Luis Suarez pounced on a low cross from Gomez to net the winner for Inter Miami, capping off a memorable victory for the Florida-based club.
This triumph will undoubtedly provide a much-needed boost for Inter Miami, who have struggled to find their form in recent weeks. The performance of Messi, coupled with the team’s resilient display, will no doubt give the Herons the confidence they need to push on and mount a challenge in the remainder of the season.
