June 12, (THEWILL) – Gospel artiste, Mercy Chinwo, has bagged the 2023 Best International Act, at the Premier Gospel Awards in the United Kingdom.
The Premier Gospel Awards which was held on Friday, at the prestigious Cadogan Hall in Chelsea, London, celebrated 50 years of gospel music in the UK.
Chinwo, expressed delight over her latest feat in an Instagram post where she tagged the organisers.
“Thanks for the honour @premiergospel. To every one of you who voted, thank you. God bless you all.”
Blessed Uzochikwa, husband to the singer, also released a statement where he applauded his wife.
“The 2023 Best International Act at the Premier Gospel Awards in the United Kingdom coming to you my beloved wife is a testament to your hard work, dint of determination and unbended focus. It is a reminder that serving God pays”, he wrote.
