Hours after Nigerian dancehall queen, Cynthia Morgan narrated her ordeal with Square Records co-owned by the now defunct P-Square made up of twins- Peter and Paul Okoye and their older brother Jude, another popular artiste, May D has accused the label of treating him badly claiming he shared a BQ room with domestic staff and slept on a television box and used his shirt as a cover sheet.
May D wrote this on Twitter: “For your information I was staying in their Boys Quarters (BQ) with their driver and their cook just one room all of us shared a toilet and I had big songs and also the other side of their twin duplex was empty! Now! I slept on brand new television carton used my shirt as cover cloth”.
THEWILL reports that May D was initially with the Square records and featured in the remix of “Chop my money”, a big song by P-Square featuring Akon. He later announced he had left the label.
