September 25, (THEWILL) – The Teranga Lions of Senegal, one of Africa’s representatives at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, defeated Bolivia 2-0 in an international friendly played at the Stade de la Source in Orléans, France.
Senegal broke the deadlock through a fourth-minute Boulaye Dia opener to take the advantage. The scoreline did not change until the final minutes of the first half when Sadio Mane doubled the score via a penalty kick.
At this year’s World Cup, the reigning African champions are in Group A alongside their group opponents in Iran, Netherlands, and the host nation Qatar.
