BEVERLY HILLS, March 15, (THEWILL)- Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu sparked laughter at the Senate on Wednesday when he mistakenly called a lawmaker from Ekiti State, Governor Ayo Fayose.

He committed this blunder during his confirmation hearing while responding to a question posed by the Senator representing Ekiti north, Duro Faseyi.

Faseyi had asked Magu to give a detailed account of the money recovered by the EFCC.

“We do not claim to have a monopoly of knowledge in the fight against corruption.

“There is corruption everywhere, even in the EFCC, but we are doing our best to check it,” the anti-corruption czar said
