January 23, (THEWILL) – Juventus and Atalanta played out an entertaining 3-3 draw in their Serie A encounter at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night.
The visitors, who had come off an impressive 8-2 victory last weekend, took an early lead through the consistently impressive Ademola Lookman, in the fourth minute.
However, Juventus equalised in the 23rd minute through a converted penalty by Angel Di Maria. The Bianconeri then took the lead in the 34th minute through Arkadiusz Milik.
Atalanta came out strongly in the second half and quickly drew level through Joakim Maehle, in the 46th minute. Lookman then gave the visitors the lead again in the 53rd minute with a well-taken header.
Juventus did not give up and equalised again in the 63rd minute through Danilo. Both teams had chances to win the match but ultimately had to settle for a point each. In their next matches, Atalanta hosts Sampdoria on Saturday while Juve hosts Monza the following day.
