BEVERLY HILLS, April 04, (THEWILL) – We really don’t know what’s up with our celebrities this year but we can’t say we’re not enjoying the drama!
In February, Wizkid came hard for popular blogger Linda Ikeji over that Heremés Birkin bag debacle.
However, it seems there’s still a lot of bad blood between these two and the events which occurred on social media over the weekend is testament to that.
2 days ago, Linda posted an exclusive report that Wizkid was given quit notice at his Lekki Phase 1 home.
Here’s how she reported it:
“In 2013, Wizkid showed off his new place of abode and many people, including myself assumed he bought the house. But it’s been revealed that he only rented the place…and this is fact. His rent at the 4 bedroom duplex at AyindeAkinmade in Lekki Phase 1 expired in January 2016 and for reasons best known to him, he refused to renew his rent.
He was served quit notice yesterday Friday April 1st. (His reps collected it on his behalf) and he was given until April 11th to vacate the premises. A source close to the singer said his people had already started to gradually move his things out of the house.”
On Sunday, Linda then posted a new photo of herself on her Instagram page rocking her new favorite Fendi bag.
Wizkid then seized the opportunity to clapback at the blogger with some really interesting comments while threatening to beat her up!
Linda then responded to Wizkid’s allegations with another article where she cleared the air on the allegations that she slept with Wizkid’s director (alleged to be Sesan Ogunro). According to her, she has never slept with any entertainer. She said she lives a celibate life..most of the time.
Explaining the reason why Wizkid might be so mad at her, she wrote: “To be honest, I don’t know either. All I know is that his beef with me started a long time ago but he decided to start bashing me online after I refused a meeting with him. A few months ago, he asked his PR people to contact me, that he wanted to talk to me. For some reason, he thought I didn’t like him and I was hurting his image online. He wanted to see how I could write more positive things about him but I turned down the meeting. Not that I have anything against him, I sincerely don’t! I think he’s an amazing talent and one of the few music stars in Nigeria with a midas touch. So this wasn’t personal. I just didn’t want to meet him. If he lobbies me then it means I won’t be able to write anything about him anymore…and my job is to write…about everything, including entertainers.”
She rounded up the article saying; “Oh and by the way, did I mention that his Porsche car is also on hire purchase? Oh shit, I just mentioned that! Lol. And no, darling, you’re not 25! We know your real age! Continue to have an amazing career while I watch and continue to celebrate you.”

He however didn’t stop there as he took to Snapchat with derogatory photos of her.
