SAN FRANCISCO, October 26, (THEWILL) – The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC on Monday sanctioned the Africa Independent Television, Arise TV and Channels Television over their coverage of the #ENDSARS protests.
A statement by the Director-General of the Commission, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba accused the media houses for their ”unprofessional coverage” of the Lekki shooting incident.
The stations were accused of airing unverified images of alleged shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.
