League: Kano Pillars Chair Urges Fans To Behave Responsibly

October 6, (THEWILL) – The Chairman of Kano Pillars Football Club, Alhaji Babangida Umar, has urged fans of the club to conduct themselves in an orderly manner during their matches.

The call is coming as Pillars begin their league matches at home against visiting Katsina United this Saturday.

A statement issued by Kano Pillars Assistant Media Officer, Mubarak Abubakar Madungum, on behalf of the club’s Media Officer, Rilwanu Malikawa, also charged the supporters to exhibit maturity during the encounters.

The statement said the Chairman gave the charge shortly after the club’s training session at Sani Abacha Stadium this morning.

He commended the technical crew headed by Abdu Maikaba for its commitment towards the success of team, assuring that the club’s management would do its utmost best to ensure that the set goals were attained.

Umar also urged football lovers in the state to come out en masse to cheer the Sai Masu Gida to victory on Saturday.

Recall that both teams who suffered relegation at the end of 2021/2022 season, incidentally secured promotion back to the top flight from the Nigerian National League (NNL) last season.
