February 19, (THEWILL) – Prince Andrew, the Duke of York and younger brother to King Charles III, has stated that the King is trying to force him out of his £30 million Windsor home.
According to the UK Daily Mail on Sunday, it was reported that Andrew has told his friends that his brother wants to slash his annual grant adding that if King Charles does that, he will be unable to maintain the 30-room Royal Lodge and will have to move out by September.
The Duke, who relied on the support of the late Queen from her private fortune, reportedly gets £249,000 a year.
According to the Mail, in the past few weeks, all members of the Royal Family have been told to tighten their belts and to expect less money while some friends of Andrew are already suggesting that he is looking to pursue commercial opportunities as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done in the US.
