BEVERLY HILLS, July 18, (THEWILL) – The Lagos State House of Assembly and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been thrown in a State of mourning following the demise of Kazeem Ademola Alimi, a serving lawmaker in the State House of Assembly.
The lawmaker who represented Eti Osa State Constituency 1 in the Assembly died on Tuesday July 18th 2017, after brief illness just two weeks after his 50th birthday
A statement by Musbau Razak, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, confirmed that the late lawmaker died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
The deceased, born on July 3, 1967, started his education at Moba Community Primary School, Moba Eti-Osa, attended Government College, Maroko, Eti-Osa, and obtained Bachelors Degree (B.Sc) in Economics from Lagos State University (LASU).
Until his death, Alimi was the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
