January 26, (THEWILL) – The Katsina State Government has declared a two-day public holiday as work-free days for its employees to receive President Muhammadu Buhari, who is on an official visit to the State.

Permanent Secretary of the state’s Ministry of Culture and Home Affairs, Sani Kabomo, said the work-free days (Thursday and Friday), would not affect Federal Civil Service, bank workers and essential service providers.

President Buhari arrived Katsina Wednesday night from Dakar, Senegal after attending an international conference on Agriculture.

Kabomo said the President will inaugurate some projects executed by the administration of Gov. Aminu Masari.

He also advised people in the state to exhibit a high sense of decorum and traditional hospitality during the visit.
