Juventus Will Not Appeal UEFA’s European Competitions Ban

July, (THEWILL) – Juventus have officially announced they will not be appealing the verdict of UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), which banned the club from participating in European competitions during the upcoming 2023/2024 season. The investigation was regarding the breach of UEFA’s regulatory framework, and in addition to the ban, the club has been fined €10 million, as THEWILL reported.

In a statement released by the club, President Gianluca Ferrero revealed their disagreement with the investigation’s conclusion, but stated that they would not pursue an appeal to ensure certainty for all stakeholders. Ferrero highlighted the club’s commitment to providing stability and tranquility for fans, sponsors, suppliers, and financial partners.

Juventus aim to focus on the forthcoming season, dedicating their efforts to competing in the Championship and Italian Cup, with a determination to offer their fans the greatest satisfaction on the pitch. Their determination will be to shift their focus back to the field rather than the courtroom.
