October 21, (THEWILL) – An Adrien Rabiot brace and the end of Moise Kean’s goal search, saw a revitalised Juventus cruise to a 4-0 victory over Empoli on Friday.
Kean had not scored since April, but the striker gave Juventus the lead at the Allianz Stadium with his first goal of the game.
Weston McKennie extended the Bianconeri’s advantage in the second half by heading home his first Serie A goal of the year, and Rabiot added a late double to finish an excellent showing.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team has now won back-to-back games for a change and it moves the Old Lady up to seventh place ahead of a crucial UEFA Champions League match at Benfica the following week.
That game will take place on Wednesday when Allegri will be counting on another good performance from his side. For Empoli, their next fixture is a domestic clash with Atalanta on Sunday.
