SAN FRANCISCO, August 10, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari is curretly meeting with Governors from the six North-East states. THEWILL gathered that all service chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police are in the meeting.
The Governors in the meeting with the President include Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Professor Babagana Zulum of Borno, Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, Darius Ishaku of Taraba and Mai-Mala Buni of Yobe. The Service Chiefs and heads of other security agencies including the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, are also attending the crucial meeting.
The meeting is expected to dwell on security challenges, especially the Boko haram menace troubling the North-East.
