SAN FRANCISCO, February 07, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Embassy in China still has former President Goodluck Jonathan on its website as Nigerian President in spite of President Muhammadu Buhari’s emergence as the nation’s leader since May 29, 2015.
Jonathan’s picture can be found on the website under “About Us” with a message about Nigeria. Worse still, Aminu Bashir Wali, who was Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2014 to 2015, is on the site homepage as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Nothing is mentioned about the incumbent minister Geoffrey Onyeama, who has been in office for over 4 years, and the Nigerian Ambassador to China, Baba Ahmad Jidda OFR. Although the embassy was without an ambassador for more than three years, Buhari in August 2017 appointed Jidda as the head of the embassy.
Buhari has also visited the Asian country twice since he emerged as the president since 2015 and was received by the Nigerian community.
