BEVERLY HILLS, February 25, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been declared winner of the presidential election in Nasarawa State, dealing a huge blow to his main challenger, Atiku Abubakar, in a state that has voted Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, since 1999.
According to votes collated by INEC in Lafia, the state capital, Buhari polled 279, 315 to beat Mr. Abubakar, who polled 241, 419 votes.
Nasarawa is in the North Central part of Nigeria.
