March 02, (THEWILL) – Wife of the President, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu and the Imo State First Lady, Barr. Chioma Uzodimma, have been lauded for the Renewed Hope Initiative Programme for women farmers in the state.
President, Imo State Widows Association, Mrs. Chioma Nwaneri, gave this commendation on Thursday, in Owerri, during the inauguration of the maiden Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Women Agricultural Support Programme for the South-East to boost agriculture in the region.
Nwaneri noted that the ceremony was in fulfilment of Sen. Tinubu’s commitment to continue to promote the welfare of the womenfolk, particularly farmers in the country and therefore, praised the Imo Governor’s wife, Mrs. Chioma, for supporting the Nigerian First Lady.
The RHI was committed to supporting women farmers with the broader national agenda to strengthen the agricultural sector.
“This is a programme designed to support our women farmers in Imo and other states. I want to use this opportunity to urge women to continue to support the present administration of Sen. Hope Uzodimma and President Tinubu,” she stated.
