SAN FRANCISCO, April 07, (THEWILL) – Multiple sources have it that Nollywood actress and former AGN president, Ibinabo Fibresima has been granted bail.
The actress who was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment, after losing an appeal over the death of a Lagos State Doctor, Suraj Giwa who died following an auto accident involving her car along the Lekki-Epe expresseway 10 years ago, was today granted bail in the sum of N2 million and two sureties who are residents in Lagos in like sum by an Appeal Court sitting in Lagos, pending the determination of a suit filed by her at the Supreme Court.
Ibinabo’s lawyers led by former commissioner in Lagos state, Adeyemi Muiz Banire (SAN) had earlier filled a bail application to the Supreme Court on medical grounds.
