June 08, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has recounted how she was molested when she was six years old.
The mother of two made this known in an interview with Temi Balogun of Cool FM.
The actress stated that she was molested and raped when she was six years old.
She tried to confront the person responsible, but he denied it. She added that the event might have happened in the past, but it is difficult to get over it.
“I was molested and raped at 6 by a family member. I confronted the person when I was in my 30’s, but he tried to deny it, but I insisted.
“It’s a thing of the past, but it never goes away.”
This is the second time the actress will be talking about her ordeal in the hands of a rapist. She once narrated how she was raped by a friend to her former lover.
She was also raped by robbers who invaded her matrimonial home when she was still with her husband.
