June 24, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has stated that she regrets ever getting married. The mother of one made this known in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
The actress got married to Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but the marriage hit the rock in 2014.
According to her, she regrets getting married to Ehiagwina, because it wasn’t the right time to make such a decision.
“I regretted getting married because it wasn’t the right move to make.”
When asked if she will get married again, Edo said yes.
“If the right person comes at my own time, I will. If he doesn’t come, I’m good”, she revealed.
Speaking on why she opted for surrogacy, Edo, said she had many miscarriages and she wanted her own child despite not being married.
“I choose surrogacy because I have had a couple of miscarriages and I just got tired of trying. I also wanted a child for myself whether I have a husband or not.
“I also wanted it to be my child. Thankfully, my eggs were good, so I opted for surrogacy.
Also explaining why she is so confident in herself, Edo stated that she believes things will work out for her.
“There is something about me, I am desperate for nothing. I believe everything will work out fine, things will come together”, she said.
