August 15, (THEWILL) – Gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile, has stated that she didn’t date her colleagues, Chinedu Okoli, professionally known as Flavour and Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, aka Kizz Daniel.
The singer was romantically linked with Flavour, after the duo featured in two romantic songs, ‘Ololufe’ and ‘Iyawo mi’.
They also shared a kiss in one of the visuals of the songs and many insinuated that they were dating.
Chidinma was also romantically linked with Kizz Daniel at different times before she quit secular music for the gospel genre in 2021.
Speaking about the alleged relationship in an interview on Channels TV’s programme, Rubbin’ Minds, Chidinma dismissed the rumours, stating they were untrue.
Isabella Adediji, the host of the show, had asked about the dating rumours and the singer revealed that such accusations often happen in the music industry, and she tries her best not to pay attention to them.
“You were confronted with a lot of accusations like the rumour of dating Flavour, Kizz Daniel. How do you navigate those rumours?”
“Well, stuff like that always happens in the music industry, I just try as much as possible to block out the noise and the distractions”, Chidinma revealed.
She also added that she is not under pressure to get married and will do that at the appropriate time.
“No pressure at all. When the time is right, marriage will happen”, she added.
