October 3, (THEWILL) – Ubi Ekapong Ofem, aka Ubi Franklin, has recounted what happened after some of notable artistes exited his record label a few years ago.

In 2016, Iyanya left Ubi’s MMMG, also known as TripleMG. Tekno followed suit in 2018.

Recounting the experience, Ubi revealed that he lost confidence when the top singers left and though, he tried to build the record label, his efforts were in vain.

Both artistes have returned to the team and Ubi has since signed on more artistes to the label.

“Everything was going fine and in 2016, Iyanya left and Tekno stayed back till 2018 December and I had to build back again, I lost confidence, I thought I couldn’t do it again, but I pushed forward, today I have them back and more Big Artiste I manage,” he said.

Ubi also boasted of having more than 30 hits s and over 230 songs on TripleMG.

“For people who do not know, I have more than 30 HIT records under my record label.

“From 2009 till date, I have released more than 230 songs under my company. We keep pushing. There is more to come.

“Made money and I have lost a lot of money. I just want to write a book about my experience. I have been through good and bad times and God keeps us going. Only God can keep you going. Always trust in God,” he wrote.
