SAN FRANCISCO, October 08, (THEWILL) – Newly invited Super Eagles player, Cyriel Dessers, says he can’t wait to play for Nigeria, adding that his invitation to the team is a dream come through.
Dessers who is eligible to play for Belgium opted to play for the three time African champions and could have made his debut for the Super Eagles in March against Sierra Leone but for the postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Dessers will now play in the upcoming friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia scheduled for Friday and Monday.
The KRC Genk of Belgium forward took to the Super Eagles’ social media handle saying he can’t wait to adorn the national colors of Nigeria.

“I’m happy to be here, it’s my call up to the Super Eagles, it’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to play my first game for the country and also meet the fans. I hope to see you soon.” Dessers said.
