BEVERLY HILLS, March 17, (THEWILL) – Golf legend and former world number one golfer, Tiger Woods, has been discharged from a Los Angeles hospital for his South Florida home.
A single-car crash on Tuesday, February 23 left him unconscious when help arrived.
In a statement shared on social media, the 45-year-old said: “Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks.”
The depth of the golfer’s gratitude can only be imagined but he expressed it: “Thank you to the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough. I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.”
Presently, there, as yet, is still no clear timeline for Woods’ recovery and return to independently helping himself.
The fortunate 45-year-old, who is lucky to still be alive, had open fractures to his tibia and fibula, requiring a rod insert for stabilization, among other injuries from that auto crash at an accident-prone portion of the tie.
