November 18, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Joshua Iniyezo, aka Solidstar, has revealed how he nearly died of drug overdose when he was addicted to it.
He took to his Instagram on Friday, to narrate how he almost lost his life because of the high intake of pills, cigarettes and ice.
The music act then urged his fans to do away with such drugs.
“I almost lost my life because of ice, pills and cigarettes.
“Stop drugs. If you can’t stop them all, smoke Igbo”, he wrote.
This is coming after the singer narrated how he was given a second chance after surviving drug abuse in 2019.
He claimed to have discovered, through experience, that there is a thin line between life and death.
“There is a thin line between life and death.
“The incident that happened a few days ago showed how fragile I am by the overdose that led to me bleeding.
“Sincere apologies to whomever I might have hurt. But, hey, love is the sweetest and slowest form of suicide”, he had written then.
