October 09, (THEWILL) – Teenager Lamine Yamal made history on Sunday by becoming the youngest ever goalscorer in La Liga at just 16 years and 87 days old. His goal helped Barcelona fight back from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw away at Granada.

The home side shocked the visitors by taking the lead after just 17 seconds through Bryan Zaragoza, the fastest goal scored in the Spanish top flight this season. Zaragoza doubled Granada’s advantage later in the first half with a brilliant individual effort.

But Barcelona pulled one back on the stroke of halftime through Yamal, who converted at the back post to write his name into the record books.

Granada looked on course for victory as they frustrated the visitors in the second period. But Barca substitute Sergi Roberto struck late on to snatch his side a point.

There was more drama when Barcelona thought they had won it through Joao Felix, only for his late effort to be ruled out for offside. In the end, both sides had to settle for a share of the spoils.
