Have Faith In President Tinubu, Nation’s Challenges Will Soon Be Over – Idris

March 21, (THEWILL) – Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has urged Nigerians to exercise patience and have faith in the Administration of President Bola Tinubu as it makes efforts to address the nation’s challenges.

Idris said the administration is working hard to reverse the situation and that the challenges would soon be over.

He made the call at an Iftar (Breaking of Fast), with Media Executives and Practitioners organised by the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, held at Armani Event Center, Kano, on Wednesday.

He said President Tinubu had introduced policies and programmes that would uplift the well-being of Nigerians.

Idris said that Nigerians should have trust and confidence in the leadership of President Bola Tinubu to ensure the successful implementation of the policies and programmes of his administration.

He said to ensure adequate reportage of government policies and programmes, training and retraining coupled with enhanced modern technology would be provided.

“The Ministry of Information and National Orientation is committed to ensuring a total overhaul of the agencies under the ministry to enhance the sector”, he said.

The minister also said that the present administration was working assiduously in reviving the nation’s refineries, adding that soon, the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery would be completed and production would commence.

He then expressed dismay at how the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), was mismanaged by the previous leadership of the bank, stressing that the administration of President Bola Tinubu had brought back the lost glory of the Apex Bank through the adoption of apt policies.

“The renewed hope Agenda of Mr President has started yielding positive results because the economy of the nation is gradually reviving and the challenges will soon be over”, he said.

Idris urged working journalists to be objective in their reportage of the government’s policies and programmes aimed at moving the nation forward.
