August 17, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, also known as Harrysong, has reacted to the allegation of cheating and wife battering levelled against him.
A blogger had alleged that the singer was cheating on his wife with a lady in one of his music videos.
The singer’s wife had confronted him over the allegation and he threatened to marry the lady. He was also alleged to have threatened to take custody of the children from his wife.
Responding to the accusations, he described it as untrue, saying the picture in circulation is from his music video. He added that the blogger wants to tarnish his image.
The singer further stated that the picture should be taken down from the social media posts and an apology should be issued if not he would seek redress in court.
“You chose to destroy my image, destroy my character by posting false news and a few of my photo shoots from whatever your stand is, with whoever is feeding you on those fake news.
“If you don’t bring down the news and apologise in 3 hours, you will be sued and charged immediately,” he wrote.
