BEVERLY HILLS, May 31, (THEWILL) – The member representing Sumaila/Takai federal constituency of Kano state, Mr. Garba Durbunde, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
Reports say the lawmaker was abducted along Kaduna-Jere road on Tuesday while on his way from the federal capital territory to Kano.
Durbunde, who is an ally of former Kano governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, served as the commissioner for rural development in the immediate past administration in Kano state.
