Gunmen Abduct Wives, Children Of Taraba Monarch

January 20, (THEWILL) – Gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, on Thursday, attacked the residence of Justice Sani Muhammed (rtd), in Jalingo, Taraba State and abducted his two wives and six children.

However, Justice Muhammed, a second class Chief of Mutumbiyu was not in his Jalingo residence at the time of the incident.

Spokesperson of the Taraba State Police Command, DSP Usman Abdullahi, confirmed the incident.

“Two wives and six children of chief of Mutumbiyu were abducted at about 1am Thursday and effort is being made to rescue them”, he said.
