SAN FRANCISCO, September 07, (THEWILL) – A GoFundMe campaign launched for Erica Nlewedim, the disqualified housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show, has raised $16,238 (about N6.3 million) from more than 160 donors within 24 hours.
The appeal was launched on Sunday night.
A disappointed fan started the campaign to raise money for the aspiring actress after she was disqualified and evicted from the Big Brother house Sunday for breaking house rules.
The GoFundMe campaign target for Erica is $100,000. The money is to help her launch her “Hopes and aspirations.”
“For Erica Nlewedim, the star of BBNaija season 5, Lockdown edition whose journey on the show came to an emotional end – To realize some of her hopes and aspirations,” the post on the GoFundMe page for Erica read.
