Ghana has sent a four-man to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to get a fina security briefing ahead of next Tuesday’s Brazil 2014 World Cup playoff.

The delegation – invited by FIFA for the security inspection, is led by Ghana FA chief Kwesi Nyantakyi. Abedi Pele, Alhaji Saeed Lartey and Ibrahim Sannie.

The match will be played on 19 November with Ghana holding a 6-1 advantage from the first leg.

The primary focus of the delegation will be to inspect the venue of the qualifier, which is the Air Defence Stadium.

Fifa have already given the approval of Egypt’s facilities and have made it clear to Ghana, whose continuing uncertainty has necessitated this visit.

This trio comes on the back of a high level meeting between Fifa Secretary General Jerome Valcke in the Togolese capital, Lome with key Ghanaian officials where Egypt’s security plans for the second-leg play-off match were presented.
