January 28, (THEWILL) – Chibunna Stanley, aka Funnybone, has called out the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, over his comments at the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign rally in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The comedian played the video of the rally where the Governor was talking.
He stated that Asiwaju was not a selfish leader when he was in power hence it is his turn to rule the country.
“First of all, let me thank you all. We have seen, if you do me good, I will do you good.
“If you do good on the other side, we will do good on this other side, that’s emilokan.
“Asiwaju has done good, it is his turn, it is your turn, it is our turn. If you chop alone, you’ll die alone.
“He did not chop alone, so it is his turn to chop that is why emilokan is important.”
The comedian criticised the Governor for his careless utterance as a public office holder.
He listed some of the problems the country is battling with and asked how it has been solved. He questioned why nonsense has been normalised in Nigeria.
He also asked the Governor what they are eating, if it was the future of the country or the country’s economy.
“You know, in Nigeria, we have normalised nonsense. We have allowed too much nonsense. Public officers, men voted into power to work for the people and the masses go dey talk nonsense.

“Did you hear that? He has done well, he did not chop alone. ‘If you chop, I chop’. What are they chopping? It’s the gut for me. It’s the confidence for me.
“It’s the Governor of Plateau state. Lalong climb podium, no sense of decorum, nobody to question you as a Governor, you dey open mouth waaa talk say the person wey dey contest for presidency him no chop alone if him chop una go chop.
“What are you chopping? Our economy, the future of Nigeria, is that what you are chopping?
“What are you chopping, Lalong? You’re chopping that naira is falling down, is that what you’re chopping?
“You’re chopping insecurity? You’re chopping bad road? What are you chopping Lalong?
“And people dey there, dey hear am say ‘I chop, I chop’ for this country. As we speak now, fuel no dey Nigeria, people dey queue to buy fuel for country wey dey produce fuel and dem dey talk ‘I chop, I chop’ for una front, una dey clap for them.
“Hunger bad cha. Yesterday, airport people go strike, travellers dey airport dey stranded, what are you chopping?
“ASUU strike dey, dem call am off few months ago over unpaid salaries, you’re saying I dey chop, you chop.
“What are you chopping Lalong? And you are the DG of the campaign and you openly and shamelessly say these things in public that ‘I chop'”.
