November 12, (THEWILL) – After being linked with recent vacancies in the English Premier League, the former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has apparently excused himself from returning to management at Norwich.
The former Chelsea player has been out of job since getting fired from the Stamford Bridge managerial dugout in January, which fueled the speculation that he was close to taking over at Carrow Road.
However, reports monitored by THEWILL claim that Lampard has now withdrawn from the race to succeed Daniel Farke.
With the team at the bottom of the Premier League and five points from safety, whoever gets the position will have a difficult task ahead of them. Last weekend, the Canaries earned their first win of the season, a 2-1 triumph over Brentford, but Farke was sacked just hours later after taking the win.
