December 18, (THEWILL) – At least four persons have been killed in another fresh attack by suspected Fulani militia at Zaman Dabo village, Atyap Chiefdom, in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
THEWILL recalls that the Atyap Chiefdom has consistently come under attacks by suspected Fulani militias, killing quite a number of people, setting houses ablaze and destroying other properties, including crops.
A local source said the attackers stormed the village in the night to execute their operation.
“Apart from the four persons killed by the attackers, one person was seriously wounded and has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment”, the source said.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, when contacted, promised to get in touch with the Area Commander for details.
