Former Kaduna Lawmaker Hassan Shekarau Quits APC

January 04, (THEWILL) – A former lawmaker in Kaduna State, who represented Birnin Gwari/Giwa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hassan Adamu Shekarau, has resigned his membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

While THEWILL has yet to verify the report, the former lawmaker, reportedly announced his resignation in a letter dated January 3, citing personal reasons.

“This is to convey to you my decision to resign as a member of the All Progressives Congress with effect from 3rd January, 2023″, the lawmaker was quoted in the letter.
