December 02, (THEWILL) –Ā Mother of former governor of Edo State, Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, is dead.
Family source, told THEWILL that Maria Oredola IgbinedionĀ died on Thursday at her home in Ugbo, in Benin-City, the Edo State capital.
Her son, Lucky Igbinedion was two time governor of Edo State between 1999 and 2007.
Late Maria Igbinedion, from Usen in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State, died at 85.
She was married to Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.
