SAN FRANCISCO, January 03, (THEWILL) – Former CNN presenter, Larry King has contracted Coronavirus according to a statement released by his family on Sunday.
They said the 87-year-old veteran talk show host has been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for the past one week because he has Type 2 diabetes.
The former CNN anchor has also suffered from several heart attacks over the years and had quintuple bypass surgery in 1987.
In 2017, King announced that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer and he went for a surgery to correct it.
He also had surgery in 2019 to treat angina.
