BEVERLY HILLS, July 03, (THEWILL) – Some fleeing Boko Haram insurgents Friday stormed Mussa village in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State, killing no fewer than 29 villagers before setting about 200 houses on fire.
Chairman of Mussa Youth Association, Sunday Waba, who disclosed this to THEWILL said the terrorists veered into the village while fleeing from a nearby community.
Waba who added that the insurgents shot sporadically at people in the village, said: “They (insurgents) have killed 29 people and burn down about 200 houses in our town.”
Waba’s account was corroborated by a local vigilante member, Modu Abba, who said the hoodlums stopped by in the village in their Sport Utility vehicles and killed 29 persons.
