July 05, (THEWILL) – Veteran Nollywood actor, Dele Odule, has warned his colleagues to stop flaunting wealth on social media, as it is misleading.
The actor made this known while sharing his daily nuggets on social media.
According to him, people who have no business in the movie industry are the ones who flaunt their wealth unnecessarily on social media.
He added that such people have no passion for what they do, they are just in it to make ends meet.
He revealed that a trained actor will not run after material wealth. He clarified his opinion and added that acting can open doors, but that should not be the actor’s priority, as material wealth should be secondary to such an actor.
Odule blamed the action of such people on the fact that the industry is not sanitised. He added that if standards are set, people who flaunt wealth on social media will not be in the movie industry.
