April 24, (THEWILL) – Olumide Akpata, the president of the Nigerian Bar Association, is all set to quit bachelorhood for the first time. He is set to walk down the aisle with his longtime girlfriend, Osayamon Ogbebor Michelle May.
The traditional wedding is slated to hold May 14, 2022, in Osayamon’s family compound at Ekenwan Road, Benin, Edo State, while the reception will hold at Air Force Military Base, Airport Road, Benin, Edo State.
Their white wedding will take place on October 2, 2022, in far-away Mauritius.
“Our Families, having now been formally introduced and the necessary consultations having taken place, we are pleased to announce the details of our Wedding nuptials. Please keep Osayamon and me in your prayers even as you make your plans to share in these special moments with us”, the soon-to-be 50 years old Akpata reportedly said.
From the influential Ogbebor Family of Bini Kingdom, Edo State, Michelle has a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from the University of Essex.
She is currently a top executive and the Financial Markets Legal Adviser at the Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc, Nigeria’s Central Securities Depository (CSD), licenced to carry on the depository, clearing and settlement of all transactions in the Nigerian Capital Market.
Osayamon has served in the Legal, Company Secretariat and Compliance Services Directorate for almost three years.
