November 16, (THEWILL) – A number of celebrities and youths who have been at the fore front of championing the cause of #endsars have reacted to the final report of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses.
Recall that the Lagos state set up the panel on October 19, 2020 to receive and evaluate public complaints of police brutality and extrajudicial killings and to recommend compensation for victims and officers for prosecution make inquiry into the Lekki tollgate shooting that happened last year during the #ENDSARS protest.
The report presented to the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu, not only described the October 20 2020 incident in Lekki Tollgate as a ‘Massacre’, it revealed that there was a collusion by the Nigerian Army, the Police and the Lekki Concession Company, to cover up the atrocity committed at the Lekki tollgate.

“I can’t believe these monsters legit made us think that we were mad, something that we watched on Instagram Live. Anyway the panel report is out now and it is clear as day. Just in case you thought we would back down at some pint. That has never been & will never be an option.”
Then he added “All these recommendations must be implemented fully!! The least that these innocent souls deserves is JUSTICE,” Folarin Falana aka Falz said.
Debo Adebayo professionally known as Mr Macaroni also went on his Instagram page to say “The same panel that the government set up has presented their findings. Except you people don’t have faith in your own judicial system.
“Since last year, we have numerous gas lighting and lies. The truth always prevails and that truth is the #ENDSARS Movement.”
In another post he said “Those that have been speaking the truth since 20/10/20 are still saying the same thing till this very day. Go and check the statement of Government reps or their supporters. It’s from one lie to the other. Now they are fighting themselves. Everlasting confusion for the wicked.”
DJ Switch who was at Lekki Tollgate that unforgettable night the incident happened and made an Instagram Live video took to her Twitter account to voice her opinion.
“Shattered so many lives, tried to destroy mine. Only for what you desperately tries to hide to be made public…… by you! The truth needs no defense! #ENDSARS.”
Actor, Ime Bishop who is professionally known as Okon Lagos called out the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed saying, “The truth about the Lekki tollgate killings is out now! This sleeping dog will refuse to lie.”
The minister has on several occasions has insisted that there was no shooting at the Lekki Tollgate and that CNN and Dj Switch who as at that time reported that several lives were lost during the protest.
Rinu Oduala who is a human right activist called said “You would agree with me that we need some explanations and we need them fast.”
She also added “Lagosians demand answers! Who ordered the killings? Who were the forces behind the control?”
