January 06, (THEWILL) – Fulham notched a narrow 1-0 victory over Rotherham United in the latest round of the 2024 FA Cup at Craven Cottage. A stunning long-range strike from Bobby De Cordova-Reid proved the difference between the English Premier League high-flyers and their Championship opponents.
The Jamaica international pounced on a defensive mistake in the 24th minute before firing an unstoppable shot into the top corner from outside the box. It was De Cordova-Reid’s second goal in as many games, having also netted the winner against Arsenal last Sunday.

In the end, De Cordova-Reid’s moment of magic was enough to clinch Fulham’s passage to the next round. The win keeps Silva’s side alive on two cup fronts ahead of their League Cup semi-final against Liverpool.
